Clean, light golden color with silvery rim. The aroma is full and harmonious , suggesting a well- balanced wine. The taste reveals tropical fruit coated in mineral and buttery notes.

This wine comes from a vineyard planted by the grandfather on a terrace at 550 metres of altitude overlooking the River Ebro. He was described as “loco” (crazy) for planting in chalky, extremely poor soils.
Grapes are sourced from vineyards planted at 550m to 620m of altitude on clay-limestone soils in the village of Ábalos. Half of the wine is aged in 500-litre barrels, the other half in 225-litre casks.
Wine elaborated with the traditional method of the Rioja Alavesa area. Carbonic maceration, in wich the entire bunch is let to ferment, for the result of fruit style wines, without huge body but easy passing through the mouth.
