The grapes come from the oldest vineyards of the winery where the tendone method is used. Montepulciano Divus has intense ruby red colour. In the nose elegants hints of red fruit jam, liquorice and black pepper. In the mouth tannin and acidity in great balance.
The medal bearing the face of Diocletian stands out on the label. Compared to other wines of that era, Montepulciano d’Abruzzo was priced highly by this emperor. Goes well with grilled lamb and sliced beef. Serving temperature: 16-18° C.
